Deacons and Deaconesses
The role of Deacons and Deaconesses in the local church is multi-faceted.  These are trained local leaders that perform a variety of service-type tasks including but not limited to:
  1. Visiting members in their homes or hospital
  2. Providing aid to the sick, the elderly, the disabled and the bereaved
  3. Caring for and maintaining the church property
  4. Participating in the worship service and Sabbath School
  5. Preparing for and serving communion
  6. Assisting baptismal candidates
  7. Supporting ministry groups with the church
The talent of service is a gift from God. It would be impossible for our church to work properly without the participation of this gifted group of leaders.  If you would like to be involved in serving your church as a part of the Deacon or Deaconess teams, please contact Tim Doudiken (Head Deacon), Pam Lambert (Head Deaconess) or any of the Elders .
